Our aim in pricing RadioNewsAI is to maintain affordability for radio stations operating on a budget and unable to hire a full-time news anchor. Unfortunately generating AI voices is still pretty expensive. But happy to say, we found a good way to fix that.

To minimize costs, we maximize the reuse of generated audio. Once a news story is created, it will be reused in other newscasts until the content of the original article is updated, triggering the generation of a new news story.

For instance, at a local station with just 3 or 4 new local stories each day, you can deliver a fresh newscast every hour (with news stories in a random order) and only be billed for around 20 seconds per news story, amounting to just 80 seconds daily.

Enable usage based billing

Pricing is based on the duration time of all AI generated audio. Each plan comes with minutes included. Usage-based billing is optional and available for all plans except the trial plan.

You will receive email notifications when you've used 80% of your second quota.

When this quota is reached, you have two options:

1. Upgrade to a higher-priced plan
2. Enable usage-based billing for your account

Usage-based billing means you will pay per second for usage that goes over the monthly quota of your plan. To enable usage-based billing, go to the "Subscription" section, found in the bottom-left corner. Turn on the toggle next to "Enable usage-based billing" as shown in the screenshot above.

Cancel or Update Your Plan

You have the flexibility to cancel or update your plan at any time. Simply follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the "Subscription" section located in the lower left corner.
2. To cancel your subscription, click on "Manage Subscription" and proceed with canceling your subscription.
3. To update your plan, select either "downgrade" or "upgrade" to the plan that suits your needs. If you choose to upgrade, you will be billed the remaining amount immediately.

Free trial?

As a bootstrapped company, we strive for independence and self-sufficiency, which means we don't have external investors. Unfortunately, the costs associated with AI voice generation are quite high, making it challenging for us to provide a free trial option at this time. However, you can try our product by subscribing to the trial plan for just $5. It's a cheap way to check out what we offer without a long-term commitment.
